“I stand against Islamophobia and the anti-Semitic abuse, and threats”.
I have sent an email to Keir Starmer, who has been the Leader of the Opposition and leader of the Labour Party since 2020, and he has been a member of the House of Commons (The Parliament) since 2015.
My email addressed the Israeli horrible war in Gaza Strip, and the need to work hard to stop the war, and protect Palestinian rights.
He stressed his party’s positions, and what his future Government would do.
I thank Mr Starmer for responding to my email despite his responsibilities.
According to opinion polls, Starmer will be the next head of the government after this year’s election, in the Uk.
He mentioned important and positive points.
For example, he confirmed the next Labour government (after the election this year) would be dedicated to working towards a two-state solution.
Also, he said “ I stand against the worrying rise in Islamophobia and against the anti-Semitic abuse, and threats”.

Dear Mohamed
Thank you for getting in touch with me.
Understandably, I have been inundated with emails on the conflict in Israel & Gaza. I know this is a challenging time for many, with communities in Camden and across the UK shaken by the ongoing events in the Middle East.
I would like to share my deepest sympathies for those who have friends and loved ones caught up in the conflict.
While our office is unable to reply to each individual email, I am keen to provide you with clarity on Labour’s position.
Like you, I am deeply distressed by the violence and loss of innocent civilian lives in Gaza and Israel as the conflict has entered a new phase. My heart breaks with every abhorrent image of death and destruction.
I stand against the worrying rise in Islamophobia and against the antisemitic abuse, threats and assaults that we have seen on British streets. Labour has met with both Tell Mama, and the Community Security Trust (CST) .
I would urge anyone who has experienced Islamophobic or antisemitic attacks to report them to the police and seek support from these anti-hate crime organisations.
I unequivocally condemn the brutal acts of terror committed by Hamas in Israel and the daily horrors we have seen in Gaza since. Every loss of life in this conflict is a tragedy and I want to see the loss of life come to an end as soon as possible with the protection of basic human rights.
I welcome the recent vote at the United Nations Security Council. The horrors of recent months have been intolerable. The resolution describes how we must work for a sustained ceasefire. The next humanitarian truce is urgent, and in the space it brings, intense diplomacy should begin to set new terms under which fighting does not restart and the risk of escalation is reduced.
Hamas must release all the remaining hostages, end all attacks on Israel and have no role in the future governance of Gaza. Israel must agree to end its bombing campaign, allow a humanitarian surge into Gaza, and end settler violence and displacement in the West Bank.
A sustained ceasefire is necessary, but not sufficient, for long-term peace. Over recent weeks, I’ve been in discussion with leaders from Europe, America and the Middle East, including Israel and Palestine.
There have been no serious peace talks in more than a decade. That is why there must be a new political process that has the capacity, conviction and commitment to turn a rhetoric around two states living side by side in peace into reality.
The next Labour government will be dedicated to working towards this. The international community must be spurred into action rather than shy away from the challenge. The future of Israelis and Palestinians depends on it.

أرسلت عبر (الايميل) رسالة إلى كير ستارمر زعيم المعارضة، ورئيس حزب العمال البريطاني منذ العام 2020, وهو عضو بالبرلمان عن (هولبورن وسانت بانكراس ) منذ العام 2015.
ركزت الرسالة على مخاطر الحرب البشعة في غزة والحاجة الملحة الى عمل دؤوب لحماية حقوق الشعب الفلسطيني.
شدد ستارمر في رده على مواقفه، وما ستشرع بالقيام به حكومة حزب العمال المتوقعة بعد انتخابات ستجرى خلال هذا العام،و تؤكد استطلاعات الرأي العام أنه سيتولى رئاسة الحكومة البريطانية المقبلة.

— استهل ستارمر رسالته بقوله إن مكتبي غير قادر على الرد على كل بريد إلكتروني لكنني حريص على تزويدك بتوضيح بشأن موقف حزب العمال”.
— عبر عن مشاعر الأسى بسبب العنف وفقدان أرواح مدنيين أبرياء في غزة واسرائيل.
— قال إنه قلبه يتفطر برؤية كل صورة شنيعة ( بشعة) .
—شدد على أنه ضد تصاعد المخاوف بشأن ” الاسلاموفوبيا” وأيضا ضد الاعتداءات والتهديدات المعادية ل”السامية”.
— حض أي شخص تعرض لاعتداءات بشأن “الاسلاموفوبيا” وهجمات معادية ل”السامية” ابلاغ الشرطة ،وطلب دعم منظمات مكافحة الكراهية.
— دان بشدة “الأعمال الإرهابية” ل(حماس) في إسرائيل ، وفي الوقت نفسه لفت الى الأهوال اليومية التي شاهدها في غزة.
—قال إن أي خسارة في الأرواح في هذا الصراع مأساة ،و”أريد أن أرى في أقرب وقت نهاية للخسائر في الأرواح،بحماية حقوق الإنسان الأساسية
“.
—رحب بتصويت جرى في الأمم المتحدة في وقت سابق .
— رأى أن الهدنة الإنسانية ملحة ،ودعا الى تكثيف العمل الدبلوماسي ،كي لا يستأنف القتال مجددا ولتقليل خطر التصعيد.
—شدد على أهمية أن تفرج (حماس) عن بقية الرهائن ،وانهاء كل الهجمات على إسرائيل،كما دعا إسرائيل الى الموافقة على إنهاء حملة القصف والسماح بزيادة المساعدات الإنسانية ،وإنهاء عنف المستوطنين،.
— اعتبر أن وقف إطلاق النهار ضروري ، لكنه غير كاف لاحلال السلام على المدي الطويل.
— كشف أنه انخرط في نقاش مع قادة في أوروبا وأميركا والشرق الأوسط وشمل ذلك إسرائيل وفلسطين.
—لفت الى أنه لم تكن هناك محادثات سلام جادة على مدى قرن و” لهذا السبب ينبغي أن تكون هناك عملية سلام جديدة تتسم بالقدرة والإقناع والالتزام ،لتحويل الخطابة بشأن دولتين تعيشان جنبا الى جنب بسلام الى واقع” .
— أعلن في موقف مهم أن “حكومة حزب العمال المقبلة ستكرس جهودها للعمل من أجل حل الدولتين”.
— حض المجتمع الدولي على خوض هذا التحدي ،وقال “ان مستقبل الاسرائيليين والفلسطينيين يعتمد على ذلك”.
اختتم رسالته بقوله” شكرا مرة أخرى على رسالتك”.
